Overview
Kakheti is where wine has been made in clay qvevri for eight thousand years, and the day is built around tasting it where it is made. We visit family cellars for a tasting, walk the walled hilltop town of Signagi with its view across the Alazani Valley, and stop at Bodbe Monastery. Depending on your interests we add Tsinandali Estate, Telavi, or the cliff-side Gremi complex. Tastings are paid on the spot, so you choose how much you would like to try.
