Overview
We leave Tbilisi in the morning and cross into Armenia the same day, so the trip stays comfortable from start to finish. In Yerevan you have time for the Cascade, Republic Square and the city's cafés; outside it we visit the Hellenistic temple at Garni, the rock-cut monastery of Geghard, and Lake Sevan with the Sevanavank churches above the water. Transport, border formalities, hotels and a guide who works in both countries are all arranged by us — you only need your passport.
